For the past 4 years I have worked as a full time teacher in Newark, NJ. In addition to my full time teaching position, I have tutored students in all of the core curricular subjects: Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. I have worked with both regular education and special education students throughout my career. This has given me the skills required to differentiate instruction for the individual student. Each student I teach is given the exact type of instruction they need in order to succeed. Education is not a “one-size fits all” situation. Teaching allows me to watch as a young person develops academically, which is one of my biggest joys in life. For me, being a tutor is just another outlet for helping students succeed. I received a 1470/1600 on the SAT, 4 - AP Calculus, 4 - AP Statistics, and 5 AP Psychology, in addition I received a 6/6 on GRE analytical writing section.

Hobbies
In my spare time I enjoy hiking and kayaking with my family, especially if there is a fantastic view at the end of the journey. I'm also a huge fan of reading, including young adult literature, biographies, and historical fiction. Lastly, I do truly enjoy cooking and always trying new recipes!
