I am a graduate of Rutgers University, where I completed a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a master's degree in Education. I am proud to be a teacher of high school mathematics. I can tutor students in any level of Math, up to and including Calculus. I can also help learners struggling with SAT Math. While Mathematics can seem daunting, I believe it's simply a matter of increasing conceptual knowledge. The rote memorization of formulas only goes so far. For real progress, and success on the SAT, learners need to know why the formulas work.I do not demand that my students love Math. Interests are varied and it unrealistic to expect every student to love every subject their instructor loves. I do ask, however, that my students familiarize themselves with Math. There is no telling where they might wind up later in life and it's better to have the skills and not need them than the other way around!In addition to being wild about Math, I am also wild about exercising, listening to country music, and cheering on my favorite sports teams.
